BAR EXAM HUB is the data controller responsible for personal data processed through this Service, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable law.
1. Data we collect and why
- Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account (contract).
- Exam answers and AI evaluations — to provide grading and feedback (contract).
- Session and device data (IP address, device identifiers, session tokens) — to enforce the single-session rule and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
- Usage data — to maintain and improve the Service (legitimate interests).
- Support messages — to answer your concerns (contract / legitimate interests).
2. Who we share data with
- Service providers for hosting, database, and AI processing.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting).
- Authorities where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside the Philippines under appropriate safeguards.
3. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
4. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to the National Privacy Commission.
5. Security and cookies
We use encryption, access controls, and session protections. We use only essential browser storage needed for sign-in and sessions.
6. Payments and refunds
STRICT NO REFUND / NO DISCOUNT POLICY: All purchases of BAR EXAM HUB plans are final. No refunds, discounts, proration, or offsetting of previous payments are granted, except where a refund is mandatorily required by applicable law.
